A message from our Stewardship Committee: 

One of the joys of working on this committee is recognizing all of the tasks that get done quietly at St. Luke. For example, do you know who spread the gravel on the sides of the driveway, or who folds the bulletins every week, or buys supplies for coffee hour?  The Stewardship Committee plans to reveal some of these stewards as an inspiration for us all.

In order to discuss our role as stewards in 2012, the Stewardship Committee has arranged a catered luncheon on Sunday, October 30, after the worship service to which all are invited. Several members of the congregation will present their experiences of how St. Luke has woven them into the fabric of the church. November 13, will be Stewardship Sunday. We will ask everyone to make a commitment for 2012, based on each person’s sense of stewardship. Commitment cards will be mailed with the stewardship letter in October and the card may be placed in the offering plate, or mailed to St. Luke Church.
